What is your style?
I work in a documentary style of wedding videography. This means that I strive to capture the day as it is. I take on the role of an observer. I love capturing authentic, spontaneous moments on camera that will never happen again. I do not favor posing or heavily staged scenes. When I do choose to stage something, it is always to achieve a natural feel. I provide more details about natural staging and the filming process during the consultation. Send an email.
What is a signature highlight film?
It's a customized film for each couple. Every event is one-of-a-kind, all people are different, and the atmosphere at each wedding is unique. I create a special product for each of you. The duration of the film is 5 to 10 minutes (depending on the hours of shooting). Each film includes parts of the ceremony and/or parts of the toasts.
What is a full documentary film?
It's all the footage from the wedding compiled into one file in chronological order, stabilized, and color-corrected for convenient watching. The duration of the film is up to 90 minutes. This is a classic style of films from the 90s and early 2000s. It’s perfect for family watching and for seeing all the footage that didn't make it into the highlight film, and to get a full experience of the wedding day.
Who chooses the music?
Music plays a huge role. I would advise you to trust me with the selection. How do I choose the music? Sometimes it takes me several weeks to find the right music. In making my selection, I rely on the energy of the couple, the wedding vibe, and the footage I have shot. Additionally, I incorporate voice-overs, camera sound, and sound design for a richer audio experience. If you want to be a bit involved in the music selection, you can send me your playlists so I can understand the vibe you are aiming for.
How long does the turnover take?
You can expect to receive the finished product within 8 weeks after the wedding date.
